Overview
Blootek Ventures Marketing Ltd (“Blootek”, “we”, “us”) collects, stores and processes personal data in order to provide services to the users of this website. This website generates property-sale enquiries for Better Move, our property-buying brand. Where you submit an enquiry, your personal data will be passed to Better Move and may be shared within our group of companies so that they can contact you about your enquiry.
You can find out more about what personal data is from the Information Commissioner’s Office at www.ico.org.uk. In essence, it is information that identifies you as a living individual.
We take data privacy seriously. We only collect the minimum personal information relevant to processing your enquiry, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are under 18, please do not use this website or submit your personal data to us.
What this notice covers
This privacy policy covers the personally identifiable information Blootek Ventures Marketing Ltd collects when you use fasthousesale.io or any of our associated landing pages, and when you complete and submit our online enquiry form (the property quiz).
If any page collects “special category data” (for example health information), it will only be processed where it is appropriate and necessary to your enquiry, and only where separate explicit consent has been obtained.
Data protection compliance
We store and process personal data in accordance with all current data protection legislation, including the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), together with all other relevant legislation.
We also automatically receive and record information from your browser, including your IP address and device information, in order to prevent fraudulent use of our systems and to protect and validate genuine enquiries.
What the enquiry form collects
Our online quiz asks a short series of questions and then asks for your contact details. Specifically we collect:
Property and circumstance data — whether you own the property and how it is owned, how quickly you want to sell, whether the property is currently on the market, its approximate value, your reason for selling, whether there are secured loans or charges against it, the remaining balance on any mortgage, and the property postcode.
Identity and contact data — your full name, email address and telephone number.
Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referral source and similar identifiers.
Usage data — pages visited, clicks, time on page and form interactions, which may be collected via cookies and advertising pixels (see “Cookies and tracking technologies” below).
Special category data — only where a page specifically requests it, only with your explicit consent, and only where necessary.
How we use the information collected
When you complete our form, we use the information you provide in order to:
connect you with a relevant property-purchasing partner who can discuss or negotiate your requirements in more detail;
respond to your enquiry and send you the details of your results;
improve the website and the experience of the people who use it;
prevent fraud and misuse of our systems; and
measure and improve our advertising, where you have consented to cookies and trackers.
Lawful bases we rely on
Under the UK GDPR, the lawful bases we rely on for processing your personal data are:
Consent — where you submit your details and agree that we may pass them to a named recipient so that they can contact you, and for non-essential cookies and marketing where consent is required.
Legitimate interests — operating our lead generation service, improving our websites, and protecting against fraud, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with a legal requirement.
Contract — where processing is necessary to provide a service you have requested.
Where consent is the lawful basis, you can withdraw it at any time using the opt-out route described below.
How we get your personal information
Directly from you, when you submit the online form or contact us.
Automatically, via cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies, where permitted.
From advertising and analytics partners, where you have consented to such technologies.
Who we share your data with
This website generates property-sale enquiries for Better Move, our property-buying brand. When you complete and submit an enquiry, your personal information is passed to Better Move so that they can contact you about your enquiry, and it may be shared within our group of companies for that purpose.
Where a recipient acts as an independent data controller, they decide how your personal data is used once they receive it and are responsible for providing their own privacy information to you.
Named recipient organisations:
Blootek Ventures Marketing Ltd, trading as Better Move — 20-22 Bridge End, Leeds, LS1 4DJ — Company No. 16837818 — VAT No. 505986463
We also use specialist service providers (processors) to help operate the website and our systems. Where these providers act as processors, they process your data only on our instructions and under contract. They include:
LeadByte — the lead-management platform that receives your completed enquiry from this website and delivers it securely to the named recipient above.
Website hosting and infrastructure providers.
Advertising and analytics platforms (see the cookies section below).
Postcode lookup and address validation services, used to confirm the location of the property.
Cookies and tracking technologies (PECR notice)
We use cookies, pixels, tags and similar technologies in order to: (a) make the website work; (b) prevent fraud; (c) measure performance and conversions; (d) improve the relevance of our advertising; and (e) build audiences for remarketing.
Under PECR, we will only place or read non-essential cookies and trackers — such as advertising and analytics technologies — on your device where you have been given clear information and have provided your consent through our cookie banner or controls.
